Never really sell weapons, and my derv would cry if i handed him a non-customized weapon.

I usually only customise martial weapons though, as i like to swap my hero weapons around depending on builds. Also I give weapons to guild members if they need.

Not all the people have the same ideas, just the stubborn/bad people don't customize.

I customise. Even caster weapons, cause olias demands more wanding damage. And Jora would punish me if I gave her uncustomised weaps. Plus I need to use my destroyer weaps for something...

All my warrior weapons are customized after I buy and give them a simple "look" test drive at isle of balth.

No point in customizing caster weapons. The only caster weapon you should customize is a 15^50 wand that deals preferably non-elemental damage that you can get from a collector.

I wouldn't customize anything for PvE. Since PvE is so easy, the damage is not worth it, and, at some point, you'll quit GW, so it would be nice of you to give away your non-customized weapons to someone.

I think most people don't customize because they seem to think the 20% is minor. It adds alot more damage than you might think.

I feel naked using a non-customized martial weapons. Assuming you're a good player, your weapon mastery will always be 13+ (there's usually never a point in having low req items, unless it's a shield/offhand), so save yourself lots of money and get high req items.

I customize everything I intend to use, including wands and staffs, the damage difference is clearly visible even on wanding.
But I can't get myself to customize my collection of caster Wintergreen Spears, I just can't, heh. But even uncustomized they do more dmg than customized gold max spears (on a caster) though

The extra damage I would get from customizing is equal to zero on most targets, +1 on others, difference visible on 70 armor targets where dmg goes from constant 3 to 4.
Spearing that trapper biatch for 4 instead of 3 should win some games, right? :P:P

Never customized anything before destroyer weapons. Only reason I customize those is because of the HoM. If it wasnt for wanting to fill that up, I wouldnt have done it.

Customize everything I use, no reason not too.

No ones going to buy/want your old hand-me-down caster weapons, so don't be a scrub and customize them.

I only customize weapons for my Warrior that were gifts or ones that I use on him. Otherwise I don't.

My 15-22 damage 15^50 uncustomized sword still does more damage. You can't even do basic math. There are plenty of reasons not to customize your weapon, I'm not going to list them all. The additional 3/4 damage per hit is negligible outside PvP. But the general intelligence on this forum doesn't seem to go above "ZOMG, more damage, your bad.", so I'm not even going to bother... ZOMG iz bad!
